“Ausra Narmontiene has been making soft furnishings - both lined and interlined curtains and cushions (self-piped, with panels, as bolsters and other more complex patterns) for me for five years. I first commissioned Ausra to complete all curtains, blinds and cushions for my own home including treble-width pinch pleat curtains to a five metre drop with a leading border. These were hand-stitched to complete them and the finish was so precise - with crisp pleating and hems even at this size - that I then commissioned her to provide the soft furnishings for my French antique and vintage textile business in the grounds of Woburn Abbey.”

“Ausra has repaired and remade an early 19th century silk damask pelmet and made up damask, jacquard and silk cushions beautifully from antique fragments together with xmas stockings and linen cushions featuring monogram centre panels and piping.
